I wrote a week 6 post and unfortunately it did not save. Round 2 I want to reflect on my process of developing our project four. It can be so easy to fall under the substitution or augmentation branch. So many activities have switched from paper to computers such as recording yourself giving a presentation. This would fall under the substitution category as it is the same presentation just on video. It is completing the same task in a different format. Augmentation would be taking a presentation and putting it on slides as it might add some visual interest but is essentially the same level of effectivness. While redesign would be taking that presentation adding transitions, and integrating pictures. Redefinition would be the same presentation, adding videos, gifs, detailed images, and maybe a Kahoot at the end. All levels complete the same task but have varying levels of engagement and knowledge retention for other students. The SAMR model is a good reminder to thick thoughtfully before switching an activity to online.
